I grew up in Wisconsin with a large blended family, which includes my parents, step-mom, brothers, sisters, step-sisters, nieces, and nephews. Although my parents divorced when I was young, they always worked together to create a cohesive, loving, and supportive family.

My favorite time of the year is Autumn! I love the crisp autumn air, the colors of the leaves changing, and the taste of pumpkin spice lattes. I can't wait to take our little one out to the pumpkin patch and play in the autumn leaves!

Our single-story home is settled on a corner lot with lots of sidewalk space for chalk art, riding bikes, and a large backyard, which will be perfect for a future swing set. Our home has three bedrooms and a large open family room in the basement, where we love to spend time playing games and watching movies.

We have both been blessed to have extremely supportive families who have been there for us every step. Family is one of the cornerstones of our lives, and we are thankful for the time we get to spend with them.

Christopher's family is just across town, so we get together frequently - sometimes even on occasional game nights! Alyssa's family is just a few hours away, and we visit whenever we can. We enjoy all sorts of activities throughout the year, such as watching fireworks for the 4th of July, carving pumpkins in the fall, making snow angels, and ice skating in the winter. We love to challenge each other to various games and are excited to share our hobbies and interests with a child.
